Mr. Gerod Gore

Mr. Gerod Gore began his education at South Carolina State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work (BSW). He furthered his education at Case Western University in Cleveland, OH where he received a Master of Science in Social Administration (MSW). Mr. Gore is a Licensed Independent Social Work-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and approved clinical supervisor by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners. Also, he is a national certified therapist in Trauma Focus-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Mr. Gore taught at Benedict College for six years helping students make the successful transition from high school to college. Mr. Gore is currently the Executive Director of Carolina Behavioral Health Services, a private practice committed to building healthy families by providing evidence-based treatment and culturally sensitive interventions. He possesses over 14 years of experience treating youth and adolescents in individual, family, and group therapy. He specializes in simple and complex childhood traumas experiencing depression, anxiety and other PTSD symptoms. Mr. Gore utilizes best practice and evidence based treatment model TF-CBT.

Mr. Gore is a mental health consultant for Wateree Community Head Start in Sumter, Lee, and Kershaw Counties and assist families with IEP/504 plans at local schools. He provides community outreach through professional speaking engagements and workshops.

During down times, Mr. Gore enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and watching local basketball talent.
